Discover the Benefits of a Certified Pre-Owned Ford

If you are looking for a chance to drive a quality Ford without breaking the bank on a new car, we encourage you to consider getting a certified pre-owned (CPO) Ford from Blake Utter Ford. A CPO Ford is essentially a used car that comes with several additional benefits. While we carefully inspect all vehicles that arrive at our dealership to make sure they're fit for the road, a CPO Ford undergoes Ford's own rigorous inspection and certification program for quality assurance.

What is Ford's CPO Program?

Ford has a premium CPO program that ensures its vehicles are fully inspected and meet customers' demands for quality and satisfaction in their next car. The CPO program by Ford contains several different elements. To be considered for the program in the first place, Ford vehicles must meet certain age and mileage requirements. A Ford must be no more than six years old, and it must have 80,000 miles on the odometer at the most. Ford vehicles also undergo an extensive inspection by a mechanic to make sure they are safe and free of damage or deterioration inside and out.

The multi-point inspection covers all parts of the car ranging from small parts such as the side mirrors and door handles to the suspension system, lights, battery, and mechanical components. Once they pass a physical inspection, Ford's CPO vehicles also have their paperwork and service history checked to make sure there are no problems with their records.

The warranty that comes with your Ford is another advantage. A Ford comes with a 12-month warranty or one that lasts for 12,000 miles, whichever comes first. You can also get a limited powertrain warranty with your Ford that covers the vehicle for your choice of either five years or 60,000 miles, or for a slightly longer term of seven years and 100,000 miles. The warranty starts from the time that you purchase the car. If your Ford needs to have any parts replaced or serviced while the warranty is in effect, the car will receive service for the covered component at no charge to you.
